Description

I designed this first version of a “levitating” stand for figurines and minatures.. The idea es to use magnets since its easier to get than a levitation kit. Of course its not the same, does not achieve the same height or exposure but its pretty nice. Im working on a second version with a better "chaining" system for smoter movement.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Build
For this I set it up with 2 magnet types, but you can use just one… the main concept here is to use a big center magnet, I added the smaller ones around to ack as “stabilizers”, but are optional.
The main magnet is a 32x5mm one, I used this one: https://www.amazon.es/dp/B0BMTLHF45?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
[OPTIONAL] The secondary magnets are 10x2mm, I used this ones: https://www.amazon.es/dp/B0D41KVJ9K?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Once you print everything I preffer to make the lids with closing option instead of pausing the print and adding the magnet, this way you can reuse the magnets, and you can make the silly mistake of setting the magnets the opposite way and fix it :P

For the chain links, I used 4 chains made with 3 links and then 1 link for side. Be patience here, it can take some time.

Hope you enjoy it!
