Description

One of the most adaptable instruments for outdoor surveying is GPS (or, more accurately, what we typically refer to as GNSS receivers: Global Navigation Satellite System).

We have at our disposal incredibly precise instruments for measuring points on the Earth's surface; however, when surveying through irregular or sandy terrains, discrepancies in altitude measurements frequently manifest because the pole's tip can unexpectedly burrow into the ground, even by several centimeters, thus skewing the instrumental output.

From sandy landscapes along riverbanks to bustling construction sites with their unpredictable grounds: there are numerous situations in which a single miscalculation in altitude could cost us dearly.

This innovative 3D printed wide tip features a support plate with a diameter of 100 mm, effectively preventing such costly errors.

The measurement of height is 86 mm, which aligns with the standard height of a tip found in a GNSS antenna pole.

Just remove the tip by unscrewing it and attach this broader adapter that provides a connection using the standard 5/8” female thread.
