Original Post

Searching for a good way to store my Button / Cell Batteries, I came across erhapp the Parametric battery (button cell) storage box and it was perfect except for one detail, the lid was not lockable, so I went ahead and remixed it for some of the batteries that I have.

  • Added a locking notch so the lid will stay in place.
  • Added text to both the lid and the box with 2 deferent options
    • Engraved: Best when printed with color capable printer
    • Highlighted: Best when doing filament swap

The supported battery sizes are the following:

  • 12x CR2016
  • 12x CR2025
  • 12x CR2032
  • 5x CR2430
  • 50x LR41
  • 20x LR44

Note: I received multiple complains of the Lids not locking in place; but when I reprinted the models, I couldn’t duplicate the issue in my side even when trying deferent filament with the default generic profile. However, adding a 0.2mm to the width of the Lids made the Lids very hard to remove in my case. So, if you have such an issue just reprint the Lids after adjusting Only the width after disabling the uniform scale.
