Boost Me (for free)

If you like my stuff, feel free to support me with a Boost. A lot of work always goes into it. Thank you very much

For my workshop, I wanted a central dust extraction system that would pre-separate coarse particles for me
So I designed this cyclone separator. It should have easily replaceable and customizable connections for the future. For connecting the vacuum cleaner, I use an Osvac Neo M32 connector. For the transition to my pipe system, I made a 50mm spigot that also fits directly onto HT pipe

Furthermore, I have also designed connections for Osvac Neo F32 and a DN50 HT sleeve. An original HT sealing ring DN50 fits into this sleeve

Edit 03/19/2025:
Connections for HT pipe DN40 are now also available. Similar to the DN50 variants, also as a spigot or sleeve. An original HT sealing ring DN40 also fits here

Edit 01/16/2026:
Out of my own interest and also on request, I have added Osvac Neo M50 and F50 connections. These are available as a separate print profile, as well as for download. A seal is provided in the F50 connection AD 59mm x ID 52mm x D 3.5mm ( https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07Z43GFX7 ). There is no version without a seal!!!

The Osvac Neo F32 transition is available in two versions. One with and one without a seal. An O-ring 39.98mm x 32.92mm x 3.53mm is used internally as a seal ( https://www.amazon.de/30-St%C3%BCck-Dichtungsringe-Garantie-MONTERAL/dp/B0CDD53X52 )

More details on the Osvac Neo system can be found at https://osvacneo.de .

To create your own connections, a basic connector is available as a Step file in the "Anschluesse" folder. Can be found under Download Files

A cavity is designed into the body of the cyclone to save material

To prevent the collection container from collapsing if the hose gets blocked, I have integrated a vacuum relief valve directly into the cyclone. This opens above a certain vacuum and is adjustable.

On all sealing surfaces, whether to the collection container or to the connections, I have laser-cut matching seals from 1mm EPDM sheets. The DXF files for this are also available for download.
Furthermore, the seals are available as STL files if you want to print them from TPU. There is no print profile for this, and it must be created accordingly by yourself.

As a collection container, I used a 30L drum with a lid. A link to it can be found further down in the material list. The gasket of the cyclone attachment can be used to mark the drum lid for the cutout
It is mounted with M5 screws and the mounting ring on the underside of the lid. M5 nuts are inserted into these. These may need to be glued in place.

Corresponding heat-set inserts are used for the connections and the vacuum relief valve. The link is also below in the material list.

The connections are then mounted together with the seals using 3 M5x12 cylinder head screws and washers each.

Assemble the vacuum relief valve according to the image and mount it on the cyclone using M3x25 cylinder head screws and washers. Adjustment is then done with the vacuum cleaner connected. For this, the suction connection must be closed to adjust the spring accordingly.

Don't miss my other designs for workshop dust extraction.
