Description

Well this is my first high poly blender model, I'm more of a fusion 360 guy precission to decimal, but i wanted to explore more, see more about sculpting and making simple 2D image into something physical, thats where this contest came across, and i thought about my favorite game Dota 2, imideatly thought about Axe's “name of character” axe, axe itself wasn't special but the details it had, the runes carved into metal , chipped blade with history on its end, and the shear size of an axe was impressing too.
Since Axe's axe is two-handed, its size is going to be big, like an average human, and it was intended for prop use like a cosplay or something, I definitely see a viking with something like this.
Since the contest is like 2 more days, I was running out of time and printed only downscaled model, but welcome anyone to upscale it and bring to life size.
As well, I didn't really think about anchor points, so I simply divided the model, so the only way to keep it tight is glue, I will think about adding them, but still thoughts.

Model itself has a lot of details, like scrapes, chips, burn marks, dents, to follow as much realism, i traced everything from a photo, added some extra effects, and the result is “Damaged Axe”
