This adaptable battery storage case is available in three versions: desktop, pegboard-compatible (6mm hole spacing, 16mm center spacing), and compatible with IKEA Skadis pegboards
The case features four battery slots, each with a circular retaining clip for ease of use and replacement
Six different battery slots are included: 18650, AA, AAA, 2032 button cells, a single-compartment storage tray, and a double-compartment storage tray. Each battery slot is clearly labeled on the reverse for easy identification
The battery icons on the front of the case are designed as inserts, requiring adhesive for attachment. As multicolor printing is notoriously time-consuming and wasteful, this design approach was chosen. A version without battery icons is also provided in the slicer settings for users who prefer it
All design choices prioritize minimizing print time and material consumption, while offering users a wide range of options. Print only the slots you need—more of one battery type, then print more of that slot. Those with fewer batteries can print the storage compartments. Multiple usage scenarios are supported. Currently, only four battery slots are available, but suggestions for other battery storage needs are welcome, and further updates will be added to enhance diversity
