Description
I have designed M6 and M8 star knob nuts where the nut is embedded. It is inserted during printing at a pre-set print pause, and then printing continues. This makes the star knob nuts very stable, and there is no need to insert a lid or cover afterwards.
I have created two head variants: one straight and one slightly rounded. Which one you choose is purely a visual matter; the internal construction is identical.
Since I almost never use threads other than M6 and M8, I have initially limited myself to these two thread diameters. If you would like further variants, please let me know.
Important to note: The recesses for the nuts are designed for standard M6 or M8 hex nuts. Should the recesses not fit your nuts, please also report it.
