Description
Introducing the HyperGrid Cube!
Inspired by the Infinity Cube you can find on my profile, now we tackle an even more challenging design. With a lot more overhangs and less material used, its something which might not seem feasible for 3D printing, but after many tweaks and prototypes, it became a really easy print and weirdly strong for how light it is. With the reinforced (double size) edges, the cube can really take a beating and still survive!
The optical illusion from the Infinity Cube is still present, with a twist: the square openings allow a bit more light to come in, making the visible shape a bit more diffuse.
Prototyped on the A1 Mini, it was tested in PLA and PETG with no issues, my recommendation being to make sure the filament is dry, to minimize the stringing.
