Introducing the majestic Recycling Elephant, a clever and creative sculpture designed not only to look amazing on your shelf—but also to help you clean up your 3D printing poop!
This elegantly posed elephant is crafted with a beautiful Voronoi-style lattice body, perfect for stuffing with 3D printer waste (aka “printer poop”), such as filament purge leftovers color changes. The result? A unique, colorful, and eco-conscious art piece that brings trunkfuls of charm and sustainability into your space.
Print Instructions:
This is advanced print. Please use 3MF file attached, if you use 3MF your print will be successful. 3MF has many adjustments to make it work. It has pause to place the poop in. It doesn’t have any internal supports so it is easy to place the poop in. Supports are a bit stronger to avoid break when bottom of the belly is being printed.
If you print STL you are on your own, please slow down the print by 50%, make sure your supports are strong and there is no supports in the middle of the model.
- Decor + function—helps recycle while looking like modern art
- Eco-conscious makers who want to reduce plastic waste
- Animal lovers and fans of geometric or abstract art
- Gifting—especially to 3D printing friends who are both artistic and environmentally friendly
Fun Fact:
This elephant doesn’t forget… especially not your pile of filament scraps! Instead of tossing them, give them a cozy new home in this wise and waste-saving beast.
