Description

These vibration dampers were designed for my dehydration unit.
This unit sometimes makes a lot of noise due to some vibration. 

Moving the unit helps most of the time, but the noise often comes at night and that is really irritating.

So I created these dampers and they perform very well. 
Haven't heared a noice out of place since I used the dampers.

Though designed for the dehydration unit, they can be used for anything within the weight range.

 

The 4 dampers together can have a load between 10 and 20 kg.

 

I included the STL file, but that is just for the shape. 

Printing of the STL file will result in a massive print.

 

The real trick is in the print profile.

Thick top and bottom layers combined with a thin wall and low gyroid infill does make it work.

 

TPU is the only way to go here.
