Description
Folding Calendar with Stand
I have created four variations, but you are welcome to create your own designs :)
Please upload your print profiles here
Version without feet:
https://makerworld.com/de/models/1241631-flip-calendar-day-date-folding-calendar#profileId-1262293
Highlights and differences from other uploaders' versions:
- Display of weekday and date
- Rotation direction of the rotary wheel is the same as the rotation direction of the flaps
- Completely enclosed housing
- More retro look
- Feet—multiple options available—feet are interchangeable
- Completely new design—gear ratio design
- Uniform font size/appearance
- Narrow gap between the flaps
Update V2:
a Because the length of the filament influences the position of the gear, I switched from filament to a printed sheet. This resulted in changes to the lid and housing, as I now integrate the sheet into the housing and no longer into the lid. Added access for removing the covers above the gear. This allows repeated access to the gear.
b Reduced the thickness of the date slips from 1mm to 0.8mm with a layer height of 0.16 instead of 0.2.
c Added L and R markings to minimize incorrect assembly.
Update V3:
There are now four sets of weekdays. This means the wheel movement of the day is the same as the date.
Therefore, the lower stopper is omitted.
Assembly:
Please carefully remove the supports.
The left and right sides differ because the date gear has 31 teeth, while the day gear has 28 teeth.
This results in the date having only one tooth offset, while the weekday requires five teeth.
Note: The major challenge was to achieve the same look and position with only seven flaps as with the 31 flaps on the date side.

Assembling the date shaft
If the washers are on the shaft, the holes must be in the same positions.

Note: You can clean the holes with filament

Slide the washers to the edge and secure them with the retaining rings.

Mounting the gears

Mounting the gear lock (bevel is at the bottom on both sides)

The gears can only be rotated in one direction.

If you want a more audible click, you can bend the gear lock downwards
Assembly of the weekday side (L) analogously

Mounting the upper stoppers

Mounting the feet

Assembling the flaps.
The flaps are inserted into the holes between the two washers by gently bending them. It is best to start with the day, as there are only seven of them.
I recommend downloading the “Empty Flaps” profile and doing a test assembly so that you can practice handling and avoid damaging the two-colored flaps
