Description
City Puzzle is a modular building concept designed for the Cities of the Future contest. The system is built around a base component that can be stacked vertically or connected horizontally using connection pieces. Additional bridge modules allow for variation and complexity.
Each base component features open side slots, where window modules can be inserted if the sides are not connected to other components. The design also includes top modules that neatly close the upper openings of the base units, giving a clean and finished appearance.
All components can be mounted on a round base plate, forming a puzzle-like cityscape that can grow in all directions. The prototype is printed entirely in white, but different colors can be used to create variety and highlight specific parts.
This project encourages playful exploration of modularity, flexibility, and urban density in future cityscapes.
Modular parts for waterfalls, as shown in the renders, will be added soon.
