WILL NOT FIT ON A-1 MINI, 220mm BED SIZE REQUIRED

 

Looking for a quick game I could make in search for a cure to boredom, i had this as a shower thought!

So i cooked this up as a table top game that prints in 6 hours and costing about 5$-usd and

Using a Bambu cardboard refill spool thing rather then a printed chain or hole to not bust or break as many times.

Profile comes with a Non-AMS board Aswell so AMS use is only optional!

 

You will need:

210G filament

PLA works fine, may want to use ABS, ASA, or PETG to make it last longer in heat or if your kids or “child hearted” ones get rough.

x2 M3-bolts (14mm or longer, 18 is recommended)

 

DONT BE LIKE ME!

When printing this for the first time i was lucky everything went ALMOST perfectly,

only issue was due to my own mistake printing the board at “sport” speed.

everything else came out well but due to how far and fast the printer travels at that speed for the board it cause enough larger imperfections or scrap some infill off, causing me to remove them manually to hope to save the print.

i changed the infill from cross hatch to gyroid and printed at standard speed, worked perfectly this time!

 

So don't be like me, everything BUT THE BOARD is fine to print at 124% speed!

 

ASSEMBLY HELP

once you have printed all the parts, Hoop, Board, Rack, and stand.

first screw your M3-bolts into the holes in the hoop screwing them in through the board and ending at the back of the rack,

the tolerance's should be tight enough that you may use 14-16mm long bolts and not have to use a nut, but a 18mm or long bolt and useing a nut is recommended!

Be careful Screwing, 3D printed parts are of course plastic, to much force could snap them!

 

Tolerances to tight?

some printers differ from others or there may be an issue such as dust in the gears that wont make as fine parts, but dont worry!

Take a screwdriver or power drill with a 3/32in Drill bit and slowly pas back and forth through the holes of the part that is too tight!

(Sorry to my metric friends i've not got drill bits in metric, however Goggle states 3/32 inches in around 2.38mm)

 

CHOOSE THE RIGHT BALL!

Ball pit balls work great with this!

i recommend printing a ball from TPU that's 60-70mm big for this, i don't not recommend printing a ball from anything other from TPU as they are prone to shattering apon impact or just not working right.
