Description

When installing the IKEA Vidga curtain rail system, I ran into a few challenges – one of them being that the included connectors are super wobbly. But I needed to connect multiple curves and rail pieces in a stable way.

For the first version, I used the connectors without screws, which works okay if things aren’t under a lot of stress. But if you want it to be rock solid, I’d definitely recommend screwing them in.

The connectors are designed really tight – especially the curved ones – but they’re actually a bit narrower than the rails. So I had to plug them in first and remove the shaved-off bits of plastic.
That’s because IKEA made the rails and the curves with slightly different dimensions.

I printed it in PETG - works great
