Description
Welcome to my designs,
For a long time I've been searching for a map to mark all the countries, regions, and places I've already traveled to, or would still like to visit.
Since I couldn't find anything suitable, I decided to design my own map.
The map is approximately 60cm x 70cm in size and is attached to the wall with two screws.
To ensure it fits on standard printers, the map has been divided into panels measuring 20cm x 23cm each and printed in 12 individual parts that are later connected via clips.
Three compartments, easily hung, store markers for visited, planned, or desired areas.
The text on the compartments can be easily modified in the slicer.
Many major cities are already marked on the map. Additional custom markers can be created either in Bambu Studio using a negative cylinder, or added later with a 2mm drill bit.
This allows individual cities to also be marked.
Except for the compartment labeling, the entire map can also be printed without an AMS; for this, the filaments need to be changed in the following layers:
Start: Filament 1
Layer 11 (2.20mm): Filament 2
Layer 19 (3.80mm): Filament 1
Layer 26 (5.20mm): Filament 2
The first filament change ensures that the recesses for the markers also have the color of the countries.
I am currently working on markers to mark entire countries. If there is also interest in this, I will add them as soon as the work is completed.
