X1C Screen Lockout Cover

This model was created to prevent unauthorized use of the office 3D printer. Someone in our office would sign out of the company account when the authorized account users were on the road and sign themselves in to send personal models using company material. This led to the need for the Admin whose email the account is registered to to sign in before any authorized users were able to resume using the machine from their workstations.

I looked for another model before designing this, but the only one I found required 2 different prints and some hardware to attach to the machine. I just wanted a single print and no other components beside the lock to secure the cover.

The model can be printed with no supports and there are versions to put the lock on either side of the screen. It cannot be removed without the key to the lock, or breaking the cover.
