Description

This project consists of sustainable air-freshener assembly containing an internal “carrier” plate and an external protective sleeve.  Printed in PLA on a Bambu A-1 Mini, the print took 2h34m based on the supplied .3mf settings. The two components are engaged and disengaged by a “press button.” Operationally, the internal carrier plate is loaded with a typical and readily available wax melt block as shown in the photos.  The wax melt block is dragged over one side of the internal carrier plate filling the holes with wax.  Do not fill the hole entirely as this will obstruct the air flow.  Filling the holes with about 25 percent wax should be appropriate.  After loading the internal plate, insert into the external sleeve by depressing the button which will allow complete insertion.  Once inserted, the button will retain the carrier plate within the sleeve.  Make sure you orient the internal plate in the correct direction for proper function. This device can be used again and again making it more eco-friendly and be used in a car or around the home. Hope you like it!
