Description
A full functional trailer hitch cover that fits on the new Tesla Model Y (Juniper).
This is a replacement part of the original Tesla Trailer hitch cover and can be used with or without the trailer hitch. For an easy usage all covers can removed easily.
Also the cable slot can be easily accessed and provide a clean solution to protect your Model Y from dirt for the mounted/unmounted trailer hitch.
The openings are kept to a minimum to provide maximum protection, yet operation is still seamless. The trailer cable can be easily attached, and the trailer hitch can be easily removed/locked.
The model is designed to be printed on an A1 mini. Use cable ties or 3 x M4 screw to put both main cover parts together. The full cover can then snap on the lower body of your Tesla. Use the TPU plugs to secure the cover.
For large volume printers also a one-piece version is available as extra print profile. I recommend to remove the top cover of the Bambu-Printers to avoid model warping and also to disable the aus fan during the full print.
All 4 print profiles are required:
- choose one of the main trailer hitch covers
- Main Trailer hitch cover (2 parts to be mounted together and then snaped onto the Tesla body)
- New alternative hitch cover version with rear diffuser for outstanding design that fits perfectly to your new Tesla Model Y
- NEW one-piece version with rear diffuser for better dirt and dust resistance and stability.
2. Mounting plugs + covers
- 2 x Plugs (to secure the main cover at the body) - TPU
- 2 x covers for unmounted trailer hitch (one for the cable slot and the other for the trailer hitch) - TPU
- 1 x cover for best dirt protection of the mounted trailer hitch (for always mounted trailer hitch) - TPU
- incl. 2 x backplates for better fit of the TPU covers (fix with adhesive)
Compatibility information: This 3D print models do fit the new Model Y (Juniper) - Giga Factory Berlin Production since march 2025 up to now.
