Kitchen Nook with Shelf and Concealed Socket
Print Profile(1)

Description
We had an empty corner in our kitchen. A power strip, which was unsightly, always sat there. To hide it, we placed a basket in front, containing various kitchen utensils. Eventually, this became bothersome, so I created a two-part shelf for the corner. The lower half conceals a power strip with a cutout for the cable, while the upper half provides ample space for kitchen tools. The shelf is designed to fit snugly against the wall, even with countertop strips, thanks to a beveled rear lower section. There are five parts total: three for the lower section and two for the upper shelf. I've added pegs and holes to easily assemble the parts without much fiddling. I also created two dividers to subdivide the large upper shelf into three smaller ones; these are available separately upon request.
