Boost Me (for free)
As a relatively new FDM printing enthusiast, I present this 25cm-tall mecha. Though imperfect, this toy, refined over a month of iterative design and testing, prioritizes ease of printing and assembly. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
A brim has been added per feedback; remove it manually if needed. My arrangement prioritizes pre-plated parts and is confirmed printable. Should parts detach, manually adjust their orientation or use adhesive on the build plate.
Background:
A million-word exposition on this mecha's intricacies would be appropriate, but laziness prevailed. This project represents an exploration of TPU's exceptional damping properties in conjunction with other materials. Its name derives from a small aircraft I've been designing. In short: Printable, Assembleable, Articulated, and Laborious.
Required materials include PETG and
TPU!!! TPU!!! TPU!!! The hands and parts shown below require TPU.

My familiarity with uploading and configuring prints is limited (lack of detailed tutorials). For TPU, manually adjust infill to 100% solid!
Currently equipped with basic weaponry; complete armament and expansions will follow.
As a printing novice, assembly perfection isn't guaranteed.
For example, the TPU ankle and foot connection will be quite tight (due to the small contact area supporting the entire body).
Most articulation points are TPU-covered, using an interference fit requiring force during assembly.
Non-TPU areas can be trimmed or expanded; feel free to provide feedback.
All feedback is welcome and will be addressed.
If you appreciate my work, a simple "Keep creating" comment would be the most powerful encouragement.
un…. That's all.
