Addressing the drawbacks of vertical printing (vertical printing causes stress on the Z-axis, which is prone to breakage—a common flaw in FDM printers), this design is made for horizontal printing, eliminating the need for supports, significantly increasing the success rate and resulting in strength comparable to metal versions.

4. Suitable for 16mm diameter clothesline rods; scale proportionally for other diameters.

If you modify the settings, you can redownload and reprint or modify them according to the following settings.

1. It is recommended to use PETG for printing. After changing the material, check if the wall thickness is 5 layers and the infill is 30% spiral infill.

2. It is recommended to use variable layer height, select adaptive, and adjust detail/speed to 0.15. This will improve the printing accuracy of the internal holes. Generic layer height printing may lead to large errors in the internal holes, preventing the rod from fitting and making the printed part prone to cracking.
