Description
Alexstrasza, the Life-Binder, is the former Aspect of the red dragonflight and the life-guardian of Azeroth. She is one of five dragons chosen by the Titans to wield the power of the Pantheon to manage Azeroth, and was appointed by the Titans as queen over all dragons.
Alexstrasza resides in the Dragon Soul in Dragonblight, a sacred place for dragons. Malygos, the Aspect of the blue dragonflight, became dissatisfied with merely guarding humanity, leading to a conflict with the Red Queen. With Deathwing's rise in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, Alexstrasza played a crucial role in resisting the undead forces, commanding the dragonflights against the black dragonflight. During the fight against Deathwing, many of the Red Queen's supporters perished.
