Bambu H2D/S/C Chamber Plug Dust Cover
Print Profile(1)

Description
This little dust cover solves a head-scratching design choice by Bambu Lab – they left an exposed Molex connector inside the H2D build chamber which is likely used for the future rotary tool. With a 40W laser spitting debris everywhere, that unprotected connector is just asking for trouble.
Snap this cover on and stop worrying about smoke and crud gunking up your connection pins. If you're firing up that laser regularly, this is pretty much essential maintenance.
I deliberately designed the snap connector to print separately in a different orientation to improve durability. The L-shaped clip would likely snap if printed in the same orientation as the cover due to layer adhesion issues when bent. The Molex connector pin spacing is extremely tight, making it impossible to print the part on its sides even with supports and support material like PLA. While the plug fit is intentionally loose, this actually prevents it from breaking off inside the connector even though the print orientation might suggest otherwise.
Installation: Slide the L clip through the center of the plug. Position the shorter post (of the 4 on the plug) at the top right, then snap the cover onto the exposed connector.
Printing Specs:
- Material: PETG (higher heat tolerance since the h2d chamber can be heated)
- 0.2mm layer height
- Wall generator: Arachne (model will not slice on a .4 nozzle without arachne. this is an extremely small part)
- Order of walls: outer/inner
- No supports needed
- Print time: ~10 minutes
- Black looks best with the printer interior
