Description

A personalized keyring in a style similar to a standard UK car number plate.

I have been working as a driving instructor for a number of years and after recently buying a 3D printer, I have been using it to produce little gifts for my students, including these key rings to add to their car key, as a little memento after they have taken their test, of their time learning to drive with me.

I started off by including some of the names of my students on the key fobs to get a selection going, especially as I had already made some, but If you don't find the name you would like among the ones I have already done please let me know the name you would like and, provided I can make it fit, I'll do my best to get it added to the profiles.

The text is not to scale but is in the style of the standard number plate text.

I have been using the starry build plate as I like the effect on the reverse of the keyrings, however, this pretty quickly wears off when it is constantly rubbing against the key when in my pocket. Overall though the keyring on my car key, in PLA, has held up pretty well.

(Side note, if you prefer the look of ‘the rear’, swap the white for yellow, and if you're more eco friendly swap the blue for green!)
