Ender 3 V3 KE Fan Duct

My updated version of a common Ender 3 V3 KE upgrade. This modified fan duct features a lower profile design, that allows better visibility of the printhead, and easier access to the nozzle.

This remix adds the honeycomb pattern brace to the front, as well as some extra material to the fan mounts, as they were prone to breaking before. I have had several of the original models shear along the screw holes. This updated model is still running strong for me!

Please be careful not to tighten down the fans too tightly, as you may separate the layers and weaken the fan ducts if overtightened.

I have printed the fan duct in PETG-CF for its increased heat resistance and strength. Avoid PLA or any material with a low softening temperature. Normal PETG or any engineering filament should do the trick. Be aware that the model MAY warp/disfigure over time do to heat exposure. I printed mine with a stronger preset with more walls, top and bottom layers, as well as 40% infill.

This model uses all stock parts (you can add one extra screw to fix mount to extruder - not neccessary).
