Description
THIS IS A 3D MODEL OF AN ATTEMPT TO RECREATE THE MAGNET HOLDER FOR THE SAMSUNG WATERWALL DISHWASHER (US AND CANADIAN MODELS) THE PART SEEMS TO BE A LITTLEBIT OFF ORIGINAL ANGLE (LATERALLY), BUT THAT SEEMS TO BRING THE MAGNET CLOSER TO THE SENSOR, WHICH SEEMS TO HAVE BRAOUGHT IT CLOSER TO THE SENSOR WHEN HOMING. THAT CORRECTED MY HOMING PROBLEM, BUT I'VE ALSO ORDERED A NEW MAGNET because heat weakens magnets over time. Here is a link to the magnet :

I RECOMMEND THAT THE MAGNET BE COVERED BY A THIN LAYER OF SILICONE OR GLUE TO PROTECT IF FROM HOT WATER AND ELEMENTS AS THIS COULD ACCELERATE DEGRADATION OF MAGNET'S STRENGHT ACCORDING TO SOME.
I also recommend not using PLA, as its melting temp is low. Using ASA has been the permanent solution for me as it holds at higher temperatures and melts on certain washing cycles. (Also TPU seems too soft for this application).
ATTACHED IS THE ORIGINAL .STL FILE, THE ORIGINAL SOLIDWORKS CAD DESIGN AND A GCODE SLICE FILE FOR THE ANYCUBIC MEGA ZERO PRINTER (FILE HAS ALTHOUGH BEEN USED ON A KOBRA PLUS AND I ONLY HAD TO SETUP BED TEMP TO 60C MANUALLY) QUALITY OF SLICE COULD BE IMPROVED, AS SUPPORT IS NOT PERFECT.
