Description

I built these portrait card dividers to tame the chaos in my storage boxes. Flipping through long boxes was slow and messy, so I wanted tall, easy‑to‑read tabs with clear iconography and a system I could adapt as my collection changes.

So nice of you to check out my model! Here's a gentle reminder that although these models are available for free, you cannot sell them without a commercial license. Thankfully, getting one is as easy as pressing the button.

Each print profile is a complete system, pick the one you like most (or mix and match across plates):

  • Alphabetic – Each divider shows three letters (e.g., “ABC”) so you can file cards by card name.
  • Mana value – Each divider shows the mana value so you can sort by curve.
  • Card type – Each divider is labeled with one card type (including Token as a type).
  • Blank – Clean dividers with no text for custom labeling or flexible use.

Every system includes dividers with different face symbols so you can visually split your box by color or category:

  1. White mana
  2. Blue mana
  3. Black mana
  4. Red mana
  5. Green mana
  6. Colorless
  7. Multicolor
  8. Land
  9. Planeswalker symbol
  10. No symbol / blank

The result is a modular set of dividers that lets you quickly scan a box, jump to the right section, and keep things consistent as your collection grows.

Print settings

These are the settings I use for sturdy tabs that still print quickly on typical 0.4 mm‑nozzle FDM printers:

  • Layer height: 0.20 mm
  • Perimeters (walls): 8 (for a stiff tab that won’t flex too much)
  • Infill: ~10% (grid/gyroid—your preference)
  • Top/Bottom layers: 4–5
  • Material: PLA recommended (PETG also works)
  • Supports: Off (parts are designed to print cleanly flat on the bed)

Release notes

v30 — “Organization Systems” update (July 2025)

  • Added four complete organizing systems as separate print profiles: Alphabetic, Mana value, Card type, and Blank.
  • Each system now includes ten face‑symbol variants (White, Blue, Black, Red, Green, Colorless, Multicolor, Land, Planeswalker, Blank).

v22 — Initial release

  • Portrait card dividers with color/mana iconography for faster sorting.
