Filament guide 90 degree swivel, side spool mount
Print Profile(1)

Description
If you have chosen to use one of the excellent side mounted spool holders on Makerworld, you may wish to consider my 90 degree filament guide to improve the feeding process, particularly if you are using flexible filaments. This will hold a length of Bowden tube in a neat 90 degree arc, and additionally, it is able to swivel at the same time, allowing for the perfect feeding angle.
To use this, you will also need a length of Bowden tubing (approx. 150mm), and some slightly longer M3 screws (M3x6 or M3x8) to fix the mounting bracket to the existing screw positions on the rear casing of the P1S. The photos should show how to mount and use. You'll also need a coupling to connect to the stub of Bowden feeding directly to the extruder. I can thoroughly recommend printing this very excellent coupling Bowden/PTFE tube connector strong by SirPrintAlot - MakerWorld. It works perfectly to connect to my filament guide.
I recommend using Petg for these parts. The print is simple, with only a small amount of support needed. Depending on filament and printer, it may help to smooth the swivel part with sandpaper on your print.
