I have long been curious about the purpose of the CNC aluminum alloy aperture on the top of the heated bed. Customer service indicated it is for ventilation, but its proximity to the wipe zone often results in small debris accumulating nearby, which can unfortunately fall through the aperture and into the base, becoming exceedingly difficult to clean or even detect.

I designed and created a stopper to prevent filament from falling through the aperture while incorporating a perforated infill design. This addresses the customer service's ventilation concern while simultaneously preventing filament from directly entering the hole.

High-temperature materials are recommended for printing this, though PLA is also viable.
