I couldn't find an elegant 3kg dry box spool storage, so I decided to make my own, inspired by a smaller dry box already existing.

The profiles are all prepared; just print them and assemble, no support is needed 

I split the design into parts for ease of printing on any printer with a bed 230 and up Also, there's a full size if your printer can print big

 

#(UPDATE) added a new version compatible with Polymaker polydryer. Remember if you do this version, print with petg or ABS for temperature resistance (the only change I did here is the base part to adapt polydryer  you can still combine it with the previous version 

 

I uploaded all stl files and the other 3MF

 

 profiles  for a bigger printer 

You will need 

about 20 M3 nuts 

2 M3-22 mm or longer for  upper and  lower body hinge

4 ballbearings 608zz or 608Rs.

1 hygrometer

 

For laches, you may need 

  •  1 M3-40mm screw (or longer )
  • 2 M3-25mm 
  • couple of m3-14mm or longer 

 For assembling spliced parts, you will need ..

  • about 20 of M3-10 screws and 20 M3 nuts to lock the screws
  • (super glue  alternative)
