it exploded but the first half printed good

It probably didn't stick to the plate well. I suggest either washing the plate well with soap/water or if you have a supertack plate, us it!

I love the model and the addition of the base for storage/transport. The base is a little difficult to start threading, so I have been fidgeting with the top 3 levels and only thread the base when I am done. That said, I am happy how it came out.
