Why I Made This:
I designed these for my son, who has ASD and ADHD, after seeing him struggle with traditional chopsticks. He wanted to join in when the family ate sushi or noodles, but regular training chopsticks didn’t give him the tactile feedback or control he needed. So I made a version that’s simple, resilient, and easy for him to grip and squeeze. They’ve made mealtimes a lot more fun and independent for him.
Features:
- Beginner-friendly grip
- Gentle return spring built into the hinge
- Helps build finger strength and coordination
- Designed for easy 3D printing (no supports needed)
- Great for kids or anyone with fine motor challenges
Print Settings:
- Material: PLA or PETG
- No supports required
- 0.2mm layer height recommended for flexibility in the hinge
Let me know if you or your child finds them helpful. I’d love to hear how they go!
