Description
Supermarine Spitfire Mk XIV was a high-performance British fighter aircraft introduced in 1943 during World War II. It was one of the most powerful Spitfire variants, equipped with the Rolls-Royce Griffon engine, which gave it superior speed, climb rate, and high-altitude performance compared to earlier models. The Mk XIV was crucial in countering the German V-1 flying bombs and later in taking on Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighters.
