Design Notes

The connectors are designed as M12x1.75 threaded bolts. Depending on printer quality using a bolt and nut to prep the threads is recommended. 

Print recommendations

All objects are designed to be printed with a flat side down on the build plate.

Print threaded inserts with 0.16mm or smaller resolution.

Print all objects with a max of 0.2mm layer height.

Recommend printing the windows with lowest available layer height for nicest fit.

Print the door window frame, door knob, and door frame with the lowest available layer height so that the printer slows down and so that the door window frame bars print. 

For the door window frame print “thin lines” and lowest layer height available.

Glue is required to attached the small detail pieces and attached the slide pieces together. 

Note

I was unable to get the window frames to separate from supports when printing, and I settled on the MMU model. Otherwise the entire design should be able to be printed with a single extruded/color printer. I was also unable to get a successful design or print for a single piece slide.
