Printed Parts for mobile 4 AMS Rig + Cart Plans

Hey folks!

I got a ton of questions regarding this setup after posting my latest creations, especially regarding my self-built mobile AMS housings.

The full plans, bill of materials and assembly guide for the wooden carts can be found under the “Documentation” Tab

This post contains the print files for the folowing parts: 

• AMS brackets 

  the profile includes all eight brackets that fit the original AMS.

  Brackets for the AMS 2 Pro will be uploaded ~late April 

   

  EDIT May 12th 2025: sorry for the delay, AMS 2 PRO is now integrated, you can find the holders as a seperate print profile on this page!!

  

   

  Hardware: 16x M3 Heat Set Insert, 16x M3x6mm lens head screw

• Vertical AMS Hub holder + PTFU Tube managing parts

  ensures minimal filament path resistance! The profile contains the holder, 

  PTFE Quick Release Sleeves and PTFE Tube Management bars 

  Hardware: 2x M3 Heat Set Insert, 2x Stock AMS Hub mounting screws, 2x M3x12mm countersunk screw

  
   

  

  Install the two M3 inserts with a doldering iron and fix the part with the two screws as shown in the picture. I also used two strips of adhesive tape on the flat are to prevent it from tilting.

   

• Slot-In Poop Bucket

  A simple, easy print design that is compatible with Vertical AMS Hub holder

  Hardware: M3x10-12mm screw

  
  Install the holding plate with the M3 screw and adhesive tape, slide on the 

  bucket

   

• hidden Bedsheet holders 

  i use those for the plates that i don't use so often. 
  
  It can be a little fiddely put the sheets in, just so you know! 

  The gap between the top AMS and the top plate is very small, there is not much room to play with. 
   

  Hardware: 4x 3x16mm wood screw, countersunk. 
  
  For installation slot the two parts onto a bed sheet, mark the mounting holes so the plate has a little bit of play. Pre drill and fix with small wood screws

   

• Tool Holder for AMS Cart 
  It holds a little IPA spraybottle, 

  1x Knipex „electronic super knips“, 

  3x Wera micro screwdriver, 

  1x Wera inspired bed scraper, 

  a deburring tool and a cutter knifer. 
  
  This is designed to hang on the edge of a 26mm plate like in my setup.

   

  Hardware: 6x M3 Heat Set Insert, 6x M3x10-12mm countersunk screw  

   

  Install the Heat inserts on      the sides of the main part (3 per side). 
  
  Screw on the honeycomb side plates - done!
