Description

This is the easiest way to make a ship in a bottle or in this case a 'Benchy in a Bottle'

The benchy comes in two parts. And the individual pieces are designed to pass through the mouth of a glass bottle.

Once the pieces are inside, you can use a tweezer to join the pieces together. Or glue 8 mm magnets to both pieces, and they will snap together once they are inside the bottle.

The glass bottle that I used is this one : https://amzn.to/4cwrsiJ

The magnet that I used : https://amzn.to/3Yu8R0W

If you have a glass bottle with a mouth opening of around 27 mm, it should work fine. The top piece might need a harder push.

Otherwise you could scale the model to fit perfectly through the mouth of any bottle you have. Remember to add a new recess for the magnet if you are scaling the model. You can also bake in some Fimo polymer clay  to resemble the vast ocean.

I have also added a display stand to show off your ‘Benchy in a bottle’

Have Fun
