Description

EDIT 03/25/2026 : Added a base without the label's dovetail.
Hey all!

For the context: The brilliant @printelangelo created this model to use cereal boxes as filament storage.
Then, another genius, @Jagermeister, made a big improvement by posting this feeder design that let you store filament in the boxes and print directly from them without removing the spool.

But However, after a few hours of printing, I started running into some issues when printing from it:
there was friction between the spool and the base, which required filament flow adjustments, caused extruder wear, and sometimes even lifted the box.

So, I made this small remix of the main base to add 4 bearings (2 on each side) to help the spool roll more freely, and for me, it's now perfect. With these 3 models you can dry and use your filament straight from the box for about $10 per box. Axles are m3 gasket-head screws.

DON'T FORGET TO GO LIKE THE ORIGINALS MODELS, MINE IS JUST A REMIX TO ADD BEARINGS. BOOST THEM, NOT THIS ONE.
