Description

Hi, Here is an remix of the desicaant holder. I wanted to incorporate a hydrometer into the design so here it is!

You can use loose desicannt but i decided to use 50g bags so the loose desiccant was contained.

My method of storing filament is vacuum bags in a cereal container and has so far held at 10% humidity (lowest the meter records at)

i just remove from the vacuum bag and place in the ams.

If drying filament in a heater i would recommend you remove the hydrometer as the extreme heat may damage it. other than that can be kept in the centre of the spool all the time.

IF YOU DO SLICE YOURSELF BE SURE TO SET :

  • TOP SHELL LAYERS = 0 (ZERO)
  • BOTTOM SHELL LAYERS = 0 (ZERO)
  • SPARSE INFILL PATTERN = “HONEYCOMB”
  • MINIMUM SPARSE INFILL THRESHOLD = 1000

AS THIS IS HOW THE HEX HOLES ARE ACHIEVED.
