Description

Hey folks,

I decided to upload one of my more “artsy” desgins!

Boost Me (for free)

If you want to see more of my designs, you can support me here!

This model is inspired by a lamp that i was gifted a few years ago.

The old lamps “leaves” started to delaminate so i thought, “why not make a fully printed one!”

There are other models on makerworld with similar aesthetics.

This is no Remix, every part is made in CAD from scratch.

My model is designed for Bambus LED KIT 001 - other than this kit, you will not need any hardware.

No glueing needed, the parts push together and snap into place.

I printed the base and inner parts from black PLA-CF.

The leaves are supposed to be white on the inside to reflect more light. Change the outer color to your preference.

All the parts print very easy without supports.

13 plates are really not a few, this print is a little more time intensive when it comes to printer prepwork. I still had fun with it.

The inner structure after assembling should look like this:

After assembling the inner frame:

Begin sliding the printed leaves into the slots, it should only take a little bit of force.

Start at the bottom with the big leaves, 5 per “level/floor”.

With every new level, you position the leafs so they are between the ones from the previous level, interlocking, i hope that makes sense :D

There are 50 big leaves in total to fill up level 1-10.

The 10 smaller ones go to the top.

You will need to unscrew the housing of the Bambu light kit to install the diffuser, very simple task,

the kit is then twist-locked in the base using the threaded part.

I hope you like it!
