Description
Mother's Day is approaching – and for Mom, it should be something truly special.
At first glance, it appears as a simple heart. However, as soon as the light is switched on, a loving inscription emerges as a shadow – a true wow-effect and guaranteed gift highlight for the best Mom in the world.
I used matte white PLA for the front. This has the advantage that the lettering inside does not shine through when the light is off. Those using standard PLA needn't worry – slight translucence is possible, but doesn't detract from the overall effect.
I printed the background lettering with black PLA. White PLA also works well – the effect is somewhat more subtle, yet still impactful.
The model can be printed completely without supports. The front and lamp holder should fit snugly into the base. A slightly tight fit is possible – this ensures everything holds securely.
For illumination, you will additionally require the “Bambu LED Kit 001”. You can find it directly here in the Bambu Lab store or from other providers of your choice.
You will find all plates with all text templates in the print profile. Simply select the one that suits you.
