The Ultimate Gerbil Wheel

The Ultimate Gerbil Wheel has been designed from the ground up to be silent, stable, comfortable and safe for gerbils. All the wheels I've found on the market so far have serious flaws, so this addresses all of that.

Features:

• 20cm wheel, which is large enough to prevent their backs from arching while running comfortably.
• Embossed knurling for perfect grip on the inner wheel. Other wheels either slip or can trap their little toes.
• Dual bearings for stability and silent running. Two gerbils can run side by side.
• Requires no separate hardware apart from two 608 bearings which can be found cheaply on Amazon
• Includes optional multi-colour spiral effect on the inside

Print instructions:

• All parts printed at 0.20mm height, except for the bolt and nut, which should be on the finest setting.
• Print with PLA
• The stand should be printed with 5 walls to ensure it's rigid and doesn't wobble
• The Outer Bearing Hub with the two pins requires minimal support and should be printed with the pins facing up

Assembly instructions:

• Connect the Outer Bearing Hub to the wheel by aligning the two pins to the holes
• Insert one 608 bearing into the slot inside the wheel 
• Insert the bolt through the bearing from inside the wheel so that the threads stick out the back
• Add the Inner Spacer tube over the bolt from behind so that meets the bearing on the inside
• Insert the second bearing into the slot in the hub at the back
• Connect the wheel to the stand
• Thread in the nut onto the bolt and tighten gently
