Description

A friend asked if I could make a woozoo fan clamp for the son that was going away to college.

I found JKim3D's base and then borrowed hein's desk clamp design and created a sliding tapered dovetail joint to hold it all together.

I added printed pins that will hold the base to the clamps once they are slide on.

One of my bolts was a little stiff on threading into the clamp body but using water and working it back and forth loosened it up well. I'm not sure why it happened, since the bolts and clamps are literally copy paste identical.

* I think I figured out the issue and have uploaded a profile that should resolve the “tight screw” issue. Let me know if you print and still have issues.

I have the clamp bolts pads set to print in TPU to help prevent damage to the wooden bed rails, but they should be fine in PETG or whatever else you are printing in.
