Description

Hey guys here is a nice set of printable parallel guides for your track saw!  You only need some m5 nuts and bolts and a length of “Incra t-track Plus” and you are ready to go!

For assembly you will need -

(2) M5 20mm Hex Head Bolts

(4) M5 16mm Button Head Hex Bolts

(6) M5 Nuts

Assembly is pretty straight forward.  A nut gets inserted into the knob, and then the cap is a press fit onto the top.  The remaining nuts get pressed into the SMALL rectangle pieces.  When inserting these pieces into the track, make sure the nut is facing DOWN…..so when the Button Head bolt tightens, the nut doesnt get pulled out!  Insert the hex head bolt into the LONGER rectangle piece, and assembly is done!

CALIBRATION - Get a scrap piece that you know the dimensions.  For myself cut a piece of plywood on my table saw because i know my fence is bang on.  I cut a piece that was 15" wide and 4' long.  I put my track down on the piece with the parallel guides attached, lined the edge of the track up with the cut.  I then butted the adjustable portion of the guides against the piece and made a mark on the track.  I inserted a length of RIGHT TO LEFT tape that i had……..and put the 15" mark on my pencil mark.  I set the parallel guides to 14" and made a cut with the track saw….i could then slide the tape measure back or forward a little bit to ensure that the parallel guides were correctly measuring.  For reference i used a 48" section of Incra track…..cut in half….which allows me to cut up to 30" with the guides!  Enjoy!
