Description

Update V2

I've added a profile of a version of the cubby with a small lip at the front of the cubby box, and a center ridge. The desire with these two featuers is to prevent a phone or other objects from flying around inside and knocking against the side, or flying out the cubby under extreme acceleration.

It may need more of a feature/lip but so far it's working for me.

The single DIN horizontal porsche 996 cubby hole is basically unobtanium. I only have the CD changer pop out DIN module available, so I used that design and made myself my own cubby hole. This is much much deeper than the stock cubby hole as well, it basically maxes out the depth of the center console with enough space at the back, and also maxes out an A1 mini I was using to iterate.

Prints best in PETG-CF for me (minimal shrinking and warping with the CF and better finish) although normal PETG-HF and ASA also work if you are dialed in right for your material.
