Elevator Door Hang Tag

I crafted a sign that magnetically attaches to a lift door's photoelectric sensor, keeping the door open. I always struggled with the door closing immediately when transporting numerous items, hindering loading and unloading.

Two to four magnets (ideally flat) must be affixed to the reverse side, preferably using superglue.

Two versions are available:

1. A version directly printable from the app, without rear markings.
2. A version with a theft deterrent message indicating the location of theft. Street address and house number must be customized in Bambu Studio (easily done). Printing is done from a PC using Bambu Studio.

Safety Notice:

I assume no liability for any damage resulting from use. Users must independently ascertain their lift's operation and confirm safe usage. The sign, positioned before the photoelectric sensor, essentially mimics a body part obstructing the door, preventing closure and movement, akin to placing an object (e.g., a moving box) in the doorway—a method that functions flawlessly in my lift. Verify this with your own lift; you are solely responsible.

A self-proclaimed expert contacted me, suggesting some lifts might detect blocked photoelectric sensor components or light curtains, ignoring them and proceeding anyway. While the rationale eludes me—such a feature renders the safety mechanism redundant—I mention it nonetheless. In my experience, the sign works perfectly, keeping the lift door open and preventing any movement.
