Magnetic door stopper

Update 10/03/2026: Added files for 8x3mm and 10x3mm magnets.

The magnetic door stop offers a practical and elegant solution for securely holding doors open. Thanks to its magnet system, it prevents bumps and damage to walls, prolongs hinge lifespan, and facilitates passage in high-traffic areas. Its simple installation and discreet design make it an ideal option for both homes and offices.

It uses 6 round magnets 6mm in diameter and 3mm wide. You can use double-sided adhesive tape to secure both parts to the floor and the door.

Installation:

1. Prepare 6 magnets and the two printed parts. Depending on your door, it might work correctly with fewer magnets.

   

2. Depending on your printer's tolerances, you can add a drop of glue into the holes to secure the magnets in their cavities. Pay special attention to the magnets' orientation

   

   

3. Once the magnets are in place, all that remains is to apply double-sided adhesive tape to both parts and place them in position
