Quick solution for closing a 30x30mm cable duct from Obi (apparently own brand, this is the one: https://www.obi.de/p/7514656). My measurements didn't match and mine is 32x31mm. Accordingly, the caps are also for this size. But I wanted to share it anyway - maybe it will help.
My idea was that the two upper pins would clamp between the lid and the duct. Once they broke off and I realized that it also holds if you only have the side pins - so try it out and please don't stone me if it doesn't fit your duct :-)
