  It comes in 3 parts, the plate that touches the camera, the lid that slides to reveal the camera lens and the front cover which holds the

  whole assembly on the camera.

  To assemble place the lid on the recess of the front cover in the position that can slide. then  squeeze the back cover in place

  it should click when placed correctly and shouldnt fall off. all the recesses of the front and rear cover are for the lid to slide into so these are the sides that are not visible from the front or the back.
