Inspired by “Invisible Zone” by Lubor Fiedler:
The Invisible Pen – A Magic Trick
A pen is inserted on the left and emerges on the right, yet it vanishes in the middle. How is this done? Try it out!
Additional materials required:
Liquid adhesive, rubber band, ballpoint pen refill
Update:
AMS versions are available. The print order has been set to “per object.” This means that all parts of the same color are printed consecutively before a filament change, thus minimizing wasted filament.
Assembly instructions:
Print all parts in any color you like. I recommend using black filament for the internal parts (B and C).

- Cut a rubber band (D) and use it to connect parts B and C, tying a knot in the rubber band.

2. Insert the parts into the housing (A); the side with the rubber band must face the “output.” Glue the small pen (F) onto part B.

3. Close the housing with the lid (E) (some adhesive may be necessary) and click the cap (G) into the holder. Assemble all parts of the pen (J, K, L, M). If the inner cap does not fit, print the alternative profile with a lower and two higher pressures.

Your magic trick is complete!
Performance:
I don't want to reveal too much; simply try it out! Hint: there's a reason the cap is printed in two parts ;)
Be sure to conceal the protruding pen with your left hand! The tube (H) is not necessary for the trick, but it makes it more astonishing.
It takes some practice, but once you've mastered it, you can impress your friends and family.
Have fun!
