Tie Plates, single/guard rail; code 330 rail (LGB)
Print Profile(2)

Description
These g-gauge 45mm tie plates were created for use with code 330 rail. I designed them based on LGB rail and Micro Engineering metal tie plates. They allow the rail to move around just slightly rather than grabbing it tightly, which is important for smooth large scale operations. The holes fit Micro Engineering's large rail spikes which, again, fit well but not too tightly.
There are two print profiles: one that makes a single-rail standard tie plate and the other makes a duel-rail plate that can be used for guard rails. This style creates a 5mm flangeway between the rails. (This is pretty big but again, it's based on LGB products.)
When printing, you will likely loose a few pieces. Out of about 70 pieces, I lost 4 on my plate. They're very small, so it makes sense.
Additionally, these can likely be scaled down. But, I'd suggest a 0.2mm nozzle if you're going to attempt it.

In addition to my other railroad-related models on my profile, I have a collection of how-to resources and other types of projects on my website.
I spend a lot of time making sure my models are good quality, however, if you ever have an issue, please reach out to me directly. I want to know about it!
